If  a fault is identified, the TrailerCheck Plus will hold power on the circuit leaving both your hands free while to trace the  problem. Then to work on the circuit use the handset to switch the power to another light or off altogether. Then repair without risking a short circuit, switch the power to re-do the test without needing to move.
