TrailerCheck with Remote & Code Reader

TrailerCheck is the next generation of trailer diagnostic tools from aide automotive ltd. TrailerCheck is an ideal cost effective test gauge to quickly determine the electrical integrity of an EBS/ ABS braking system plus a full lighting check and ABS ECU Code Reader on a commercial trailer.

TrailerCheck includes a radio remote hand set for walk round activation of the lighting system, The hand set will communicate with a trailer’s ECU, reading and clearing ABS fault codes on Wabco, Knorr Bremse and Haldex systems. With this option the TrailerCheck helps workshops eliminate fault finding by reading the ECU codes to determine where the fault lies. Being able to clear historic codes is ideal within a service and inspection, knowing a system is clear and then reviewing to see what faults the ECU has recorded is beneficial.

Using a tractor unit to carry out a trailer test is not as effective as the TrailerCheck as the tractor unit is not guaranteed to be a 100% working unit. TrailerCheck eliminates the indecision and confirms the trailer’s fault. Additionally when servicing or prepping trailers there maybe no space to hook a tractor unit up, as TrailerCheck is portable testing in tightly parked yards can be achieved.

TrailerCheck is easily used on site by a mobile commercial repairer or used on a multi service lane workshop. TrailerCheck is built into a rugged carrying case, portable and powered by batteries that can be re charged by mains power or via a cigarette lighter within a service van.
