SmokeCheck

With LEZ (low emission zones) increasing in UK cities it has never been more important to check vehicle emissions.

The environment is of great concern to most and with the commercial vehicle sector having an image of being a high pollutant, it has never been a better time to create the correct image, and the workshop must test and report the emissions as frequently as possible.

With this, aide automotive have introduced a reliable, portable system called SmokeCheck to enable any workshop or on site engineers to carry out emission tests on every vehicle inspection.
SmokeCheck is controlled via a simple to use handset for a "one man" operation. Easy to use prompts are shown on the handset display that guides the operator through the required test procedure.

The FAS readings shown in "K" units of smoke are displayed on the handset and then printed out on the integral printer in the main system. The integral printer can be customised to incorporate the users name, address and other information as well as the results of the FAS test.
