Easy Diagnose of Engine Leaks

LeakCheck is a portable engine leak detector for all trucks, designed to diagnose a variety of vehicle systems for leaks including in-take manifold system leaks, other vacuum and exhaust system leaks.

A simple one button design allows the operator to find leaks using smoke vapour technology with a dye solution. LeakCheck’s special non-toxic noncorrosive fluorescent solution is the only ultraviolet (UV) smoke vapor solution approved by any automaker. This solution is a unique and patented chemical that when vaporized and introduced into a system to be leak tested will exit at any leak points, depositing an ultraviolet-activated fluorescent dye ‘fingerprint’ at the exact location of a leak. To locate the source of a leak, smoke clouds will be seen exiting the leak, also a halogen light can be used as an easy option to find leaks or a UV lamp to view the dye deposited at the exact leak point.

LeakCheck can be used to identify leaks in intercoolers or turbo chargers. Leaks in these components can reduce engine power, reduce fuel economy and pollute the environment. Checking for and repairing leaks will make engines run efficiently and maintain a good environmental practice.

LeakCheck can also be used to test components such as radiators, water pumps and valves. (to an extreme) LeakCheck can also be used to test truck cabins for wind or water leaks.

Powered by a 12 volt supply LeakCheck also requires an air supply.
